Katia Hage, Music Agent
Katia Hage received her bachelor's degree in Musicology at the University of Holy Spirit - Kaslik in Lebanon, and continued with her master’s in Music Education at the University of Redlands. Her extensive musical experience expands through 10 years of teaching general music to 500 students at the elementary school level and 10 years as musical director at the Grove School implementing a music program for Middle and High School levels. She has helped set up concerts for her students in band, musical ensembles, and choir. She also implemented an Arabic ensemble for the Grove School as an elective course.
Parallel to her teaching work, Katia has performed French songs in a local cafe as a soloist and with other musicians. She also performed the guitar and the kanun* in art festivals and galleries in the Inland Empire. She attends the NAMM show every year to meet new upcoming artists and stay in touch with the music industry.
Recently, Katia has collaborated with Marcus Miller in a concert for World Peace with numerous professional musicians, among them Ava Nahas and Yunus Iyriboz.
